Back of the box:
Private sleuth Edward Carnby specializes in weird supernatural phenomena.
Now, a great mystery of his past is about to become his most dangerous
case. With the help of his ex-girlfriend, archaeologist Aline Cedrac , and his
rival, government agent Richard Burke , Carnby learns that just because
you scoff at something, that doesn't mean it won't pose a dangerous threat.

The Bloody Truth:
As expected Boll delivers a completely unwatchable movie, only educating
the audience of one thing. Here are three more some-what famous actors
that prove, like a heroin addicted prostitute they will apparently do anything
for money.
Boll’s talent to ruin movies is highly documented so I will leave you with just a
little advice.
Don’t watch this film. Don’t let your morbid curiosity send you to the video
store or local dumpster (wherever these movies are found) and spend 96
minutes of your life on this. You will never get the 96 minutes back.
I watched this movie as part of an intentional “bad movie night” I had a great
time with movies like Grizzly, and Troma’s WAR two fantastically bad movies
that I would recommend to friends. Alone in the Dark on the other hand was
simply boring. Bad boring and completely unnecessary. The only thing this
film brought to this world is the few bucks that it put in a few people’s
pockets. Oh how ill gotten those gains were.
If you just need to see how bad Uwe Boll is then rent something like Blood
Rain, at least you can laugh at that mess of a film. Alone in the Dark offers
nothing.
