Back of the box:
A half-dead Texas border town is rudely awakened when a series of grisly
murders occurs, and the town is convinced a chupacabra is responsible.
Four high school students craft a plan to capture the werewolf, but one
man's racism complicates an already horrific situation and adds to the town's
hysteria. What begins as a supernatural panic leads to a town divided and a
group of young people battling two very different forms of beastly terror.

The Bloody Truth:
At times the film takes odd and quirky steps leading you to believe you might
have found a gem of a unique horror movie. Unfortunately the director is
unable to take his quirky and interesting characters much further than the
introduction and the film lives up to the poor direct to video expectations.
At least this director did appear to try and luckily never takes the film to
seriously. There is also a bit of currently relevant social commentary that is
sadly dealt with kid hands. Yet another strike out in werewolf horror better
luck next time.
