Back of the box:

In this Slamdance Film Festival Audience Award winner, things go downhill
fast when a mild-mannered office drone (Chris Sharp) plucks a Halloween
party invitation off the street and suddenly finds himself the main event at
an art student-hosted "murder party." But the students turn out to be more
of a danger to themselves than to their intended victims in this horror
comedy that explodes in riotous violence set to a fierce punk-metal
soundtrack.
The Bloody Truth:

The Bloody Truth is simple for this film.   Murder Party is interesting,
original and a large bit odd.  Most of this is good, yet I feel like it’s a bit of a
horror geek film.  This could also be good…. For horror geeks.

Murder party for all its originality and twisted humor can’t escape the feel
of a good film school final.  The film and horror geek in me loved this
movie; the rest of me could have cared less.

Murder Party has a very narrow audience and if your not used to watching
independent film or prefer to keep your comedy to a minimum within your
horror then move on.
And the rest.....
