Back of the box:
Brothers Matt and John, their girlfriends, Sara and Nicki, and pal Noah are
looking for a little R&R when they jet off for a week's vacation on a
deserted island. What they get instead is terror when a pack of crazed
canines makes them prey. Outnumbered (and very nearly outwitted), the
group must fight off the genetically engineered killers.
The Bloody Truth:
Enjoy some man on dog violence!
This is the tale of two movies. At first look The Breed appears to be
another simple minded teen sex and death romp but the film does offer
quite a bit more in story and character. Well casted yet victim to all the
classic horror movie flaws.
Over all the Breed is entertaining even if often unoriginal and while sure
not to please the discerning horror fans it does make a fun Friday night
popcorn movie. Give it a chance. Now if someone could please explain to
me why film makers find German Shepperds so scary (or are they just
being lazy)
And the rest.....
