Back of the box:
An idyllic summer turns into a nightmare of unspeakable terror for yet
another group of naive conselors. Ignoring Camp Crystal Lake's bloody
legacy, one by one they fall victim to the maniacal Jason who stalks them at
every turn.
The Bloody Truth:
I will give you a heads up right now, according to the back of the box I
guess even Paramount expected the same old tricks out of Jason. In fact a
group of friends decide to have a summer trip to a family home in the
country. The movie takes place right after the events in part 2 and tells the
story of a woman who had a nightmarish run in with Jason in her younger
days. She has come back home to face her past and her fears. For fans
this movie is famous for giving Jason his Hockey mask as well as
dehumanising him to be more of the mindless killer we know and love.
While they did step up the gore and violence just a bit they also put the
absurdity right though the roof. This is a great watch for anyone who
wants to laugh their asses off at a wildly varied cast of dated characters as
well as extremely obvious 3d gags.
