The legendary horror series continues! After lying dormant at the bottom
of Crystal Lake, Jason is released from his watery grave by Tina (Lar
Park-Lincoln), a telekinetic teenager who returned to the site where her
father supposedly drowned in hopes of using her psychic powers to solve
the mystery of his death. But, with the hockey-masked murderer on the
loose, the killing spree begins again. Can she control her powers enough
to stop Jason?

Here comes Kane Hodder.
In Friday part 7 the new blood Kane Hodder is the reason for the
slaughter. With one of the weakest cast of characters to date and an over
all aimless plot, the film is ironically only kept breathing by the ferocious
performance of stunt/actor Kane Hodder as our skeletal and toughly “bad
ass” Jason Voohrees.
Always a fan fave the new blood is full of great moments and the idea of
Jason meeting his match in a young woman with psychic powers was full of
little realized potential. Maybe more than any Friday movie this is one that
has us fans begging for Paramount to dig into the vaults and release the
unedited versions of original 8 Fridays. Each kill is edited as if your
watching the movie on late night TV and sucks the impact out of most of
the kills.
The bloody and sad truth is Friday part 7 is a week film yet a few key
elements and good choices will always keep it as a Friday fan fave.
