The Bloody Truth:

Midnight Meat Train is a surprisingly atmospheric and somewhat cerebral
dark modern horror talethat  will send you in a few different directions
before the film is over and keep you guessing at each turn.

The Bloody Truth is, Midnight Meat Train could have almost been perfect,
yet it seems to fall just short in a handful of areas.  It's a great flick for any
horror fan who can deal with the 8 gore score, yet  it should be noted that
the gore alone could be a make or break it for some people.  Nearly all the
gore effects in this film are 100% CGI and the director uses this not just to
simplify filming but to push the envelop of modern horror with over the top
deaths that often just feel silly.

This back and fourth between the ridiculous and the deadly serious might
be what holds the film back, but for some it just could be what makes it so
great.

Midnight Meat Train is a must see for nearly any fan of Slashers,
physiological horror or the Occult.
