When a family agrees to host an occult-obsessed Nazi scholar in their
West Virginia farmhouse prior to World War II, they're transformed into his
undead slaves and must kidnap local victims to feed his bloodlust. Years

The Bloody Truth:
Undead Nazi Warlock... Need I say more!
It's rare to ever expect quality from a movie that concerns itself with the
above but, Blood Creek caught us at DRR completely off guard.
With Joel Schumacher surprisingly at the head of this well cast,
fantastically shot and wonderfully 'horror' small budget picture we are
offered something we rarely expect. A good movie!
Possibly expectations were too low at the time or we at DRR have a sick
obsession with all things “Undead Nazi” but aside from some shockingly
poor CGI in a few moments Schumacher offers up a dark, violent and well
written tale of revenge and supernatural occult horror.
The Bloodly Truth is that we have subject matter that pushes the edges of
horror and dark fantasy and yet stays well within the realms of reality. The
film has some budget constants and imperfections but among a sea of
thoughtless direct to video horror Blood Creek stands out and offers up
horror that we don't see too often. If you enjoy history and the occult this
is a great late night find.
