Back of the box:

In this thriller from director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs),
an environmental crisis emerges that threatens to wipe out all of mankind.
When people begin dying, Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg) and his estranged
wife, Alma (Zooey Deschanel), try to escape the unstoppable destroyer. As
chaos spreads across the entire planet, Elliot and Alma struggle to figure
out what is happening. John Leguizamo co-stars as Elliot's friend Julian.
The Bloody Truth:

If you have watched the trailer most likely you want to find out what
Shyamalans newest film is about. Though the real mystery isn't why people
are dieing but why the film was even made.

Perhaps the only thing your going to find in this movie is the actors doing
their job poorly and a director failing at what he does best. Fans of M.
Night Shyamalan will be greatly let down and confused, while the
anti-Shyamalan will walk out of the theatre reaffirmed that he has lost any
and all talent he may have once possessed.

The truth is this film is strange as hell yet directed so poorly that it
becomes nearly impossible to explore the mystery and at best it offers
some laughs.
