Back of the box:

No one would suspect that the Hamiltons are a dangerous family.  After all,
with their white picket fence and squeaky clean public image, they're
practically impeccable.  But behind closed doors, their extracurricular
activitys tend tward the sadistic.
The Bloody Truth:

So you're one of the 8 horror films to die for and your directors are the self
proclaimed "Butcher Brothers" creators of such films as.... The Hamiltons.
Ok well welcome to Hollywood guys.  Don't take the directors pet name for
themselves too seriously though.  The Hamiltons has the unmistakable feel
of a made for TV movie.  It constantly teases us with the idea that it might
be bloody and violent and shocking.  Yet as if edited for a late night TNT
offering it never delivers.

The Bloody Truth is that beyond the letdown of the hype this movie does
deliver a strange and unique coming of age tale.  It can be creepy and
effective at times yet never takes it self too seriously.  If you do the same
you might just enjoy it.
The Nightlife here is always
dangerous
