The Bloody Truth:

Enjoy on an empty stomach

The Bloody Truth is that Dead Alive lives up to all the talk.  Here at Dark
Road Ratings Dead Alive is the undisputed 10+ Gore benchmark for this
site!  Drenching the camera in pus, slime, guts, brain matter and tattered
flesh nearly from the start of the film, Dead Alive will not disappoint.  The
climactic finish to the movie is larger than life as expected from director
Peter Jackson who’s movie easily outgrows its small New Zealand
independent film roots with the wildly effects laden finish.

This is the number 1 must see film for gore fans and belive it or not it’s also
a funny and touching story that if you can somehow stomach the vile mess
of nasty in this movie would please any significant other on date night.  But
I’m sure most can’t stomach the vile mess of nasty so forget that.

If I do say so myself this movie is a masterpiece in dark comedy and
undoubtedly deserves it place on all the top gore list where it has landed.
