Back of the box:

El Wray and his ex-girlfriend Cherry Darling fight an army of zombies
infected with a biochemical weapon unleashed by a psychotic Army
lieutenant and an opportunistic scientist. Cult favorite filmmaker Robert
Rodriguez directs this extended version of his segment from the
double-feature homage Grindhouse.
The Bloody Truth:

The truth is Planet Terror is a disgusting, dirty, over the top, crude and
often ridiculous zombie film.  It’s also great!

Imagine taking the nastiest, bloody zombie film, mixing it with a cheesy 80’s
action flick and then injecting interesting characters, great actors and a
fully flushed out story.... oh and a budget.

Planet Terror is a truly great “bad film”  Best not to bring the non horror
loving date along for this one.
